"You hire me on as President of the United States, we're going to trust states every single day," he said to applause. The sweeping plan would: eliminate the federal Dept. of Education; return block grants for federal health care funds back to the states; repeal all ACA mandates; and return millions of acres of federal land back to states among others. At the same event, Pence finally broke his silence on Donald Trump's latest indictment. "I think it's important that we hew to first principles and that we tell the truth to the American people.
