It's Hill Climb time! Meet Paul Dallenbach driving his 2006 PVA-03 Dallenbach Special in the Open Wheel division. Paul is a Colorado native living in Basalt. Among his claims to fame is that he has been driving in commercials and films since 1992. He's also featured this year on the race program cover.

It's Hill Climb time! Meet Steve Goeglein driving his 2002 Chevy Camaro in the Unlimited Division. Steve comes to the race from Falcon, CO. This is Steve's 30th run up the mountain. He's a diehard Chevy driver and has raced on both the gravel and now paved hill climb course.

Meet Scott Birdsall who is driving his 1949 Ford F1 in the Exhibition Division. Scott is attempting to break the current Diesel Record on Pikes Peak. He holds a world speed record for diesels in the 1/2 mile and did that in the truck he found in a field, overgrown with weeds, full of animal nests and an opossum.

Rob Parsons, a 2020 rookie driving his 2014 Chevy SS in the Pikes Peak Open division. Rob is nicknamed the "Chairslayer" because he is a paraplegic. He designed and built all of the hand controls in his car and earned the Rookie of the Year title last year.

Meet Don Wickstrum is driving a 911 GT3 Cup Car 2013 (Pikes Peak Open). Don is known on the course as the "Fastest Pastor". He crashed during his practice run last year and did not get to compete that is why he is considered a rookie this year.
