As cases of deaths related to the drug Fentanyl continues, Andrew Rogers was joined by 4th Judicial District Attorney Michael Allen to discuss how law enforcement and prosecutors are looking to address the drug as well as what needs to be done to strengthen enforcement efforts. Andrew was also joined by Andrea Tully the Chief Toxicologist in the El Paso County Coroner's office to discuss the true danger of the drug.

National Child Abuse Prevention Month - April 4, 2022 - The Extra with Shannon Brinias

April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month and is an annual observance in the United States dedicated to raising awareness and preventing child abuse. On Tuesday's "The Extra", host Shannon Brinias discussed with the guests the current situation with Russia's invasion of Ukraine.  Guests included Doctor Yuval Weber, a professor at Texas A&M’s Bush School of Government and Public Service in Washington, DC, who also serves as the Bren Chair of Russian Military and Political Strategy at the Brute Krulak Center for Innovation and Creativity at Quantico, the Marine Corps University; Doctor Steven Pittz, Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, who teaches Political Philosophy, International Relations, and is also the author of a book, "Recovering the Liberal Spirit: Nietzsche, Individuality and Spiritual Freedom";  and Doctor David Arceneaux, an assistant professor of political science at UCCS, who was previously a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard University's Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, and a predoctoral Stanton Nuclear Security Fellow at MIT.
