The event features talks and seminars looking at literature, arts, and popular culture. Professors Carol Neel of Colorado College and Colin McAllister, Director of Humanities at UCCS provided a preview of their talks. A recent U.S. Small Business Administration report indicates notable trends in the small business sector, pointing to a rise in women-owned and minority-owned businesses in Colorado. These reports coincide with National Hispanic Heritage Month. An economic report released recently by the State of Colorado shows an uptick in small business filings in the State, in the first half of 2023. (CPI) received an award from the National Park Service’s Paul Bruhn Historic Revitalization Grant to develop a subgrant program to support and stimulate historic preservation projects in Colorado’s rural historic downtowns.
