The Colorado Springs Airport (COS) welcomes a new carrier to the COS roster today. Sun Country Airlines will begin nonstop service twice a week to Minneapolis/ St.Paul (MSP) effective June 8, 2023 – September 4, 2023. Beginning September 5, 2023, service will go to one time a week through November 26, 2023.

(CPI) received an award from the National Park Service’s Paul Bruhn Historic Revitalization Grant to develop a subgrant program to support and stimulate historic preservation projects in Colorado’s rural historic downtowns.  These would be for communities with a 2020 census population of 50,000 or less. CPI's Executive Director Jennifer Orrigo Charles anticipates awarding nearly $600,000 to historic preservation projects in communities across Colorado.
