Pawtoberfest is one of Colorado's ONLY dog-friendly festivals, featuring craft brews and spirits tasting, a 2-mile dog walk, freebies, music, pet contests, activities for the whole family, and plenty of scrumptious food from local food trucks. A Colorado Springs pub is going the distance… literally… this weekend to show support for women who are going through breast cancer treatment. Rilea’s Pub at Union and Vickers is holding its an annual walk and raffle to raise money. Organizers say it’s to honor the Pub’s original namesake, who sadly lost her battle with breast cancer. The Lift Others Up Walk is set for September 9th, starting at 10 am. Walkers will gather at Rilea’s Pub before departing on the walk.
