Venetucci Farm - September 23, 2021 - The Extra with Shannon Brinias

Venetucci Farm has been a beloved community icon for decades. And, as it has come under the ownership of the Pikes Peak Real Estate Foundation, the Farm is embarking on new ways to connect the community, especially children, to the "land".   On Thursday's "The Extra", Sam Clark, Executive Director of the PPREF, and Nikki McComsey, Founder of Gather Mountain Blooms joined host Shannon Brinias to talk about the exciting events planned.  They include Saturdays in October, when there will be a U-Pick Pumpkin Festival and Craft Fair; weekday kindergarten tours of the Farm and pumpkin giveaways organized through Catamount Institute; and Gather Mountain Blooms' business growing flowers for sale and creating a wedding venue at the Farm.  More information at VenetucciFarm.org
