On Tuesday's "The Extra", host Shannon Brinias spoke to Rachel Beck, VP of Governmental Affairs with the Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce & EDC about local and state legislative topics.  At the local level, Colorado Springs voters are soon being asked to decide Issue 1, a ballot measure that would remove the 30-word limit to explain city ballot measures in the future.  At the state level, Beck discussed the millions of dollars in state aid that have been left on the table, and why that may have happened.  Also, transportation funding, to-go cocktails and home office tax credits are being contemplated by state lawmakers.  For more information, go to  coloradospringschamberedc.com.
