The Extra with Shannon Brinias - Michelle Peulen with CDOT - February 11, 2021

On KRDO's "The Extra", guest Michelle Peulen, Region 2 Communications Manager for CDOT shared information on ongoing and upcoming road projects throughout the Pikes Peak area.  She shared updates on projects like the I-25 South Gap, MAMSIP, and the US 50 Purcell Blvd. Interchange.  She also shared winter driving resources that can be accessed by going to codot.gov/travel/winterdriving.  Peulen also directed listeners to sign up for text alerts in certain construction zones to help provide them with real-time traffic alerts.  For travelers using I-25 between Monument and Castle Rock, text "I25GAP" to 21000 to get alerts; for travelers using the Pueblo West interchange of US 50 & Purcell, text "US50Purcell" to 313131.  For information on upcoming agency plans, click here.
