On Monday's "The Extra", we talked to El Paso County Clerk and Recorder Chuck Broerman about how offices are going to reopen to online appointment-holders only starting Monday, May 4th. Appointments can be scheduled at epcdrives.com. Starting May 9th, Saturday hours will be available at 2 office locations, on SE Powers and the Union Town Center Branch. The Clerk and Recorder's Office has a phone bank for questions: 719-520-6240. For questions about Driver's License Services, go to MyDMV.colorado.gov. Broerman also advises ensuring voter information is up-to-date by visiting GoVoteColorado.gov.
Important Primary Election dates:
- May 15 - UOCAVA Ballots will be sent
- June 1 - Last day for voters affiliated with a political party to change/withdraw their affiliation if they wish to vote in a different party's primary election
- June 8 - Ballots Mailed, Secure Ballot Boxes open
- June 8 - Citizens Service Center Voter Service and Polling Center Opens
- June 22 - 4 additional VSPC Locations Open
- June 22 - Recommended deadline for mailing in ballots by USPS
- June 30 - Election Day, Ballots must be received by 7 pm
