Carry the Load - May 24, 2021 - The Extra with Shannon Brinias

On Monday's "The Extra", host Shannon Brinias spoke to Stephen Holley, co-founder of "Carry the Load", and ret. US Army Colonel Mark Elliott, Global Head of Military Affairs for JP Morgan Chase.  "Carry the Load" is a non-profit venture that aims to connect Americans with the true meaning of Memorial Day through fundraising rallies and relays, one of which is set to pass through Colorado Springs Thursday May 27th, and Friday, May 28th.  Through this event, donations made to "Carry the Load" on Facebook will result in matching fund donations by JP Morgan Chase.  A ceremony at Pikes Peak National Cemetery to mark "Carry the Load"'s path through Colorado Springs is set for Friday morning at 7:45 am, although pre-registration is advised.  More information can be found at Pikes_Peak_National_Cemetery_2021.pdf
