The Extra with Shannon Brinias - May 14, 2020

On Thursday's "The Extra", we spoke to Marie Fe Woods of the Promenade Shops at Briargate and Capt. Doug Hanson of the Salvation Army Colorado Springs about a unique collaboration intended to help people in need with food donated by shoppers who come to enjoy the open-air retail and entertainment destination over the Memorial Day weekend.  The event is a sweepstakes called "Cans for Community Codeword Sweepstakes."  The goal is to help bring in much-needed donations of canned or non-perishable food items.  More information can be found here:   thepromenadeshopsatbriargate.com/ and Salvation Army Colorado Springs.
