The Extra with Shannon Brinias - March 2, 2020

On Monday's "The Extra" on KRDO Newsradio, host Shannon Brinias spoke with Andrea Mensink of the Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC about the organization's work, upcoming events and intriguing projects which are on the horizon.  The organization holds a Chamber Connect event that is open to members and non-members.  This month, the event will offer a panel discussion about legislation in Colorado bringing a public health option to the state.  The Chamber Connect event is Tuesday, March 3rd, at 11:15 am.  The venue can be found at cscedc.com.  Mensink also speaks at length about exciting community projects including Amazon locating a distribution facility near the Colorado Springs Airport and In-N-Out's planned distribution center and retail restaurant on the city's north side.  She also discussed the upcoming Athena Awards, honoring businesswomen of distinction in the community.  Listen to "The Extra" weekday mornings starting at 9:00 am with host Shannon Brinias.
