The Extra with Shannon Brinias - June 22, 2020

On Monday's "The Extra", our guest was El Paso County Clerk and Recorder Chuck Broerman, discussing how to conduct business with the county, such as renewing driver's licenses or license plates, or obtaining a marriage license in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.  Online appointments can be set by visiting    epcdrives.com or online services are available at mydmv.colorado.gov.  To handle appointment loads, the EPCAR has new Saturday Hours at 2 Office Locations, 8 am – 5 pm,  Southeast Powers & North and Union Town Center Branch.  For questions, you can call the EPCAR phone bank at 719-520-6240.  We also talked about the impact of changes on the 2020 Primary Election.  Ballots were mailed out 2 weeks ago, and are due back /must be received by 7 p.m. June 30th.  Monday, June 22nd, is the deadline to put them in the USPS mail to arrive by the deadline.  A number of drop boxes and service centers are available throughout the county to facilitate voting and receiving ballots.  For more information,  Visit  epcvotes.com or call 719-575-VOTE (8683) for questions.
