The Extra with Shannon Brinias - August 24, 2020

On "The Extra", host Shannon Brinias crunched the numbers with economist Chris Salviati of ApartmentList.com after the release of the company's rental growth report, and what it shows about the trends in Colorado Springs, where rents are up 0.7% since start of the pandemic.  Rental rates have grown 2.1% year-to-year, with the median rental cost of a 2BR apartment at $1,285 per month.  This contrasts to the national trend and the trend across Colorado as a whole, which have been mostly flat due to the coronavirus pandemic.  You can listen to the podcast, plus read the full report at  apartmentlist.com/rent-report.
