Rocky Mountain Women’s Film - July 28, 2022 - The Extra with Shannon Brinias

On Thursday's "The Extra", the spotlight was on Rocky Mountain Women’s Film.  Since its inception, RMWF has screened nearly 1000 films, hosted more than 250 filmmakers, and served an audience of tens of thousands. The Rocky Mountain Women’s Film Festival is the longest running women’s film festival in the Western Hemisphere.  Guests Linda Broker, Executive Director, Rocky Mountain Women’s Film and Mary Zalmenak, Rocky Mountain Women’s Film patron, shared about their experiences.  Upcoming events include a free screening of "Chely Wright - Wish Me Away" at the Pikes Peak East Library today (July 28th), Film Club on August 9th and the upcoming "Cinema in the Park" on Saturday August 13th.  More info at RMWFilm.org.
