Care & Share is gearing up for Hunger Action Month, which kicks off in September! This is a nation-wide campaign that food banks across the country participate in, and it’s all about ramping up community involvement. People don’t have to wait until next month to get started. If you want to host a food drive at your workplace to collect food donations, we can get your fundraiser set up now so you’re ready to go. We’re always in need of volunteers, so gather friends and family and sign up for one of our September shifts now. And mark your calendars for our annual Hunger Action Day Community-Wide Food Drive on September 23^rd. We’ll be collecting food donations from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. at our Distribution Centers in Colorado Springs and Pueblo.
