ABC's Mark Remillard joined Andrew Rogers on KRDO's Afternoon News as local, state, and federal authorities across the country are bracing for what promises to be a historic week in Washington. After the Capitol siege and amid threats of violence the nation’s capital has seen fencing surrounding the White House, Capitol, and National Mall. Upwards of 25,000 National Guard members from all over the US will be on duty. Already they are blocking streets with guns across their chests and dump trucks block any vehicles from trying to ram their way in. The effort continues in state capitols and major cities across the country as well, after the FBI warned those areas could the targeted with violence.
