Exemptions for Seniors and Vets are Funded - KRDO's Afternoon News with Ted Robertson - Steve Schleiker - June 18, 2020

The shutting down of the state's economy because of the pandemic put funding of two critical tax exemptions at risk.  El Paso County Assessor, Steve Schleiker, rallied the region's elected officials who saw to it that the Senior Homestead and Disabled Veterans exemptions were included in the state's budget which has been passed.  The exemptions have been funded.  The budget is now awaiting the Governor's signature.
