On Thursday's "The Extra", host Shannon Brinias spoke to CDOT Statewide Communications Manager Bob Cole about a host of projects underway or planned for the Pikes Peak region, including: Military Access, Mobility & Safety Improvement Project (text MAMSIP to 888-970-9665 for project text alerts); I-25 Operational Improvement Project (between Garden of the Gods Road & Fillmore Street); I-25 Ramp Metering Project; and Bustang's newest route, Trinidad to Pueblo, with free fares in May.  She also spoked to CDOT Safety Communications Manager Sam Cole about motorcycle awareness and summer driving enforcement enhancements.  More info at codot.gov/projects and real-time driving conditions available at COTrip.org.
