President Biden delivers remarks this afternoon about withdrawing troops from Afghanistan by September 11th.  Speaking at a NATO event this morning, Secretary of State Blinken told the allies, “together we went into Afghanistan to deal with those that attacked us and to make sure that Afghanistan would not again become a haven for terrorists who might attack any of us. And together we have achieved the goals we set out to achieve. And now, it is time to bring our forces home.”
