Per a new AAA survey, 60% of Coloradans are already planning to take a holiday vacation. More than half of them (58%) are booking holiday travel plans earlier this year due to higher travel prices. A striking majority of holiday travelers (70%) say they're planning at least one flight during the holiday season.

Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region is expecting to draw around 1,500 people and raise over $200,000 at its popular fundraiser Pawtoberfest on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Bear Creek Regional Park. Pawtoberfest is one of Colorado's ONLY dog-friendly festivals, featuring craft brews and spirits tasting, a 2-mile dog walk, freebies, music, pet contests, activities for the whole family, and plenty of scrumptious food from local food trucks. All ticket proceeds help fund programs benefiting homeless and abused animals in the Pikes Peak Region.
