KRDO NC13's, Chase Golightly, is reporting on the tragic death of a Colorado Department of Corrections worker in Canon City. A man was killed in a boiler explosion. According to CDOC, it was 28 year old, Sgt. Joshua Voth, who was "killed in the line of duty in an accident at the Fremont Correctional Facility." Just before noon Wednesday, fire crews were called to the Department of Corrections East Cañon Complex. They found that the boiler had "suffered a catastrophic failure."

El Paso County Calls for Release of De'Von Bailey Shooting Video
County Commissioner, Longinos Gonzalez, supports the County's ask of CSPD to release body cam footage of the De'Von Bailey shooting. He also asks that the community remain patient and calm, allowing the investigation into Bailey's shooting to progress to conclusion. CSPD has said it will release the video from the body cams of the two officers involved in the deadly shooting. Bailey was a suspect in an armed robbery.
