The City of Colorado Springs is gathering public input about planned renovations to its Senior Center. The primary means to provide input is through a survey that launched on Sept. 19 and is open through Oct. 11 for residents across the city.

 

To complete the survey online and for more information on the project, visit coloradosprings.gov/SeniorCenterRenovation. Printed copies of the survey are also available at the Senior Center, which is located at 1514 N. Hancock Avenue in the Golf Acres Center in Colorado Springs.

Each year, members of the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office and the Colorado Springs Police Department combine forces on the soccer pitch as they take on the Colorado Springs Fire Department in the annual Guns & Hoses  soccer match. 

 

This year, on September 10th, starting at 7pm, the Switchbacks play the Detroit City FC at Weidner Field.  Immediately following, the combined law enforcement team will take the field to battle it out with the CSFD.  The game will played to honor fallen EPSO Deputy Andrew Peery.  The Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC has stepped up again this year in a big way to graciously host this event.
