Ask the Doctor presented by Optum, formerly DaVita Medical Group

At Optum, keeping you healthy is our top priority. And protecting yourself and your family during the pandemic is an important part of managing your health. Join us for this month’s Ask the Doctor segments, with Dr. Rocky White, Optum Medical Director, for information and updates regarding the COVID-19 Vaccine.

Dr. White joined the Optum team in September 2019, after serving in Colorado Springs since 2011, first as the Chief of Network Services and then as the Southern Colorado Market Medical Director for Kaiser Permanente. Prior to his tenure with Kaiser Permanente, he served for 15 years practicing rural medicine in western Nebraska and south-central Colorado providing Internal Medicine as well as consultation services in non-invasive cardiology and critical care medicine. Dr. White is pleased to share his expertise and knowledge with our community, especially in light of the evolving COVID-19 Pandemic.

Optum is working with federal, state, and local health officials to bring you updates about the vaccine as more information becomes available. We expect patients will be offered the vaccine

starting in early 2021.
