On Monday's "The Extra", we featured El Paso County Clerk and Recorder Chuck Broerman about the Primary and General Elections, focus on important dates:   TODAY (June 1st) is the last day for voters who are affiliated with a political party to change or withdraw their affiliation if they wish to vote in a different party's primary election.  It's also the last day for unaffiliated voters to choose a party preference and receive only that party's primary ballot.  Unaffiliated voters who do not choose a party preference will receive both a Republican and Democratic ballot in their packet. They can only vote one ballot   On June 8th, ballots will be mailed, with Military and Overseas ballots already having been mailed.   The Citizens Service Center Voter Service and Polling Center opens on June 8th, as well. On June 22nd, additional VSPC Locations will open.  Primary Election ballots must be received by 7 p.m. on June 30th, Election Day.  More information on registration can be found at GoVoteColorado.gov and epcvotes.com
