Pennsylvania's highest court has overturned Bill Cosby's sex assault conviction after finding an agreement with a previous prosecutor prevented him from being charged in the case. Cosby has served more than two years of a three- to 10-year sentence at a state prison near Philadelphia. He had vowed to serve all 10 years rather than acknowledge any remorse over the 2004 encounter with accuser Andrea Constand. Cosby was charged in late 2015, when a prosecutor armed with newly unsealed evidence -- Cosby's damaging deposition from her lawsuit -- arrested him days before the 12-year statute of limitations expired. Justice David Wecht said that overturning the conviction, and barring any further prosecution, "is the only remedy that comports with society's reasonable expectations of its elected prosecutors and our criminal justice system." The 83-year-old Cosby, who was once beloved as "America's Dad," was convicted of drugging and molesting the Temple University employee at his suburban estate. Mark explains how this all unfolded.

Many people are confused by Medicare networks and how things are coded. We have seen clients get billed for things in error because a visit may have been coded wrong. This seems to be happening more often, perhaps because of the amount of remote work that is happening now because of COVID. We encourage everyone, especially those who have Medicare, to look at their statements and make sure that they are being billed for the correct services. If people have questions about this, feel free to contact us at medicarementorsllc@gmail.com and we would be happy to review their bills with them.
